Bangalore’s First Roof Top Film Festival

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

A bunch of movie buffs are organizing Bangalore’s First Roof Top Film Festival on 7th July. So it will be 7 movies from 7 PM to 7 AM on 7-7-2007. Cool huh?

“Roof Top Film Festivals” are typically where people get together on somebody’s rooftop with a projector and a screen and watch movies which are not very popular in India or not released in multiplexes. These screenings are interspersed by independent film maker’s movies and discussions on the movies screened.

Catchflix is excited to be a part of this interesting event.

New Collection: IMDb Top 250

IMDb

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is “Earth’s Biggest Movie Database”. The IMDb website consists of the largest known accumulation of data about films. In many cases, the information goes beyond simple title or press credits to include complete cast and crew credits, uncredited personnel, production and distribution companies, plot summaries, memorable quotes, awards, reviews, box office performance, filming locations, technical specs, promotional content, trivia, and links to official and other websites.

The IMDb Top 250 is intended to be a listing of the top ‘rated’ 250 films, based on ratings by the registered users of the website. The top 250 list comprises a wide strata of films, including major releases, cult films, independent films, critically acclaimed films, silent films and foreign films.
